How typing moves your car

Every correct character moves your car immediately, and completing a word adds a small distance bonus. Keep typing to maintain momentum through three laps of Coastline Circuit; stop typing and the car slows down. The other drivers are computer opponents. Your recent typing speed and accuracy control your momentum; a mistake briefly slows you down and leaves the cursor in place. Type the expected character to continue; you do not need Backspace.

Choose a target of 20, 35, 55 or 75 WPM. Ten clean words earn 25 nitro. Spend 50 nitro for a three-second boost. The race ends when you finish, or after ten minutes of active practice. Your personal best and a recoverable race checkpoint stay in this browser.

Use a physical keyboard for the best racing experience. Escape pauses the race, and switching tabs pauses automatically. Reduced motion keeps the same race rules with fewer moving effects. Original practice sentences shuffle between races; a sentence repeats only after its deck cycles.

Use the race to practise steady sentence typing

Choose a target near a pace you can maintain accurately, rather than your highest result from a short test. If full stops or capitals keep interrupting you, use Sentences or Punctuation in untimed typing practice before your next race. Work on one recurring error before raising the difficulty.

Does winning mean my typing improved?

Race position depends on the game rules and computer opponents. This is a single-player race, not a live multiplayer match. For a consistent comparison over time, take a one-minute typing test on the same keyboard and compare accuracy alongside WPM. A race win alone is not a typing qualification.

Can I continue on another device?

Your race checkpoint and personal best are saved in this browser. They do not automatically transfer to another device, and clearing browser storage removes them. For a calmer round without a countdown, try Type Fishing.
