A calm way to practise whole words
Type Fishing is a calm, 20-level typing game. Each level asks you to catch more fish, with every completed word visibly added to your bucket. Use it to practise whole-word accuracy without a countdown or competing players.
How to start fishing
- Select Cast a line. The next fish name appears above the typing field.
- Type the name exactly as shown. Matching letters are highlighted so you can see your progress. Completing the word catches the fish automatically.
- If you make a mistake, use Backspace to correct it. A mistake breaks your clean-cast streak, but you can still complete that catch.
- Choose from 20 progressively longer levels. Every correctly typed fish animates into your bucket; names do not repeat within a round, and later trips reshuffle the collection.
Make the practice useful
Read the whole name before starting. Keep your hands near the home row and avoid looking down for every letter. If a particular letter keeps interrupting you, practise it slowly in typing practice before returning to the lake. The clean-cast streak counts consecutive words typed without a mistake; it does not measure WPM.
For a measured comparison, take a one-minute typing test on the same keyboard. Compare accuracy as well as speed across sessions. If you are still learning key positions, start with the first home-row lesson.
There is no account requirement. Use a physical keyboard to practise computer typing; a phone keyboard exercises different movements. When you want a different challenge, choose another typing game.
