Typometer sets no cookies of any kind — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for sessions. There are no third-party scripts on this site that could set them either.

Consent banners exist because sites store or read information on your device for purposes that are not strictly necessary — most often tracking. This site does neither, so there is nothing to ask you to consent to. Adding a banner anyway would be theatre.

Two preferences are kept in your browser’s local storage — your theme choice, and whether the on-screen keyboard and finger guide are shown. Local storage is not a cookie: it is never sent to a server, and it is not readable by us or by anyone else. It exists only so the site looks the same next time you open it.

You can clear it at any time through your browser settings. The site will simply return to its defaults.

If cookies are ever introduced — for example to keep you signed in once accounts exist — this page will be updated before that happens, and any non-essential use will ask for your consent first. See the privacy policy for the wider picture.
