Where is my ghost stored?
In your browser, on your device. It is not uploaded, and clearing site data clears it. That also means the ghost does not follow you to another computer.
Why did my ghost not update after a good run?
A run replaces the stored ghost only when it is genuinely better, so a fast run with poor accuracy will not overwrite a cleaner one. The comparison uses the same weighting as the rest of the site, where accuracy counts for more than raw speed.
