Stage
Warm up. A friendly first run. Build accuracy before you chase speed.
Break the boss shield by typing words
- Start the encounter and read the word you need to type.
- Complete words accurately to attack the shield. Longer words deal heavier hits.
- A wrong key restores the shield, so regain a steady rhythm before trying to type faster.
Aim for a clean word rather than a burst of speed. This game suits practice where accuracy needs more attention than raw WPM.

What this game trains
Typing complete words against a clock without the safety of correction. The pressure is on finishing a word cleanly rather than on reaching a speed, which is a different discipline from a timed test.
Who it suits
People who type quickly but correct constantly. If your backspace count is high, this is the game that makes the cost of it visible.
Common questions
Why does my speed here not match my typing test result?
A typing test gives you continuous prose, where context and rhythm carry you. Here each word stands alone, so there is nothing to coast on. Most people are slower on isolated words, and the gap is a fair measure of how much of your speed came from familiarity with phrasing.
What is a good accuracy to aim for?
Above 90%, which is also the bar for clearing a stage. Below that you are generally typing faster than you can read, and the useful change is to slow down by about a tenth rather than to practise more at the same pace.

- Code BreakerThe same pressure on the symbol keys that prose never trains.
- Ghost RaceSwap the clock for your own previous best as the opponent.
- Memory KeysA slower way to build the accuracy this game demands.
