Code Breaker
Vault locks written in real source code. Type each line exactly — every bracket, quote and semicolon. These are the keys that use the weakest fingers and the Shift key, and the ones ordinary typing practice never reaches.

Practise code symbols in a typing game
- Read the code shown on the vault lock before you start typing.
- Enter the sequence carefully, including its brackets, braces and punctuation.
- Check the highlighted target when a symbol trips you up, then continue through the lock.
This practises entering code characters, not programming knowledge. Use code typing practice for longer snippets and more time with punctuation.

What this game trains
The symbol keys — brackets, quotes, colons and underscores — which barely appear in ordinary prose and so never become automatic by accident. Most of them need Shift and the weakest fingers.
Who it suits
Programmers, and anyone whose typing collapses the moment punctuation appears. If you type English comfortably but slow down at a bracket, this is the gap.
Common questions
Why am I fast at text but slow at code?
Because the character mix is almost entirely different. English is about 99% lowercase letters typed by the strongest fingers. Code is dense in symbols that need Shift and the little fingers, and years of prose typing gives no practice at them at all.
Does this help with a specific language?
It drills the symbols common to most languages. For material in a particular language, the code typing practice pages carry real snippets in Python, JavaScript, Java, C, C++ and SQL, with the characters each one leans on.
